The memories you have of Kerry are that fresh. What a legacy she left...to have these memories of her that you have to be as new as if they were yesterday. I&#39;m happy that you had Kerry in your life. Knowing her has made you richer. (I&#39;m putting words in your mouth...forgive me for that...but I feel that knowing you as I do I can say that with certainty.) I&#39;m glad that Kerry found your arms in that classroom. I&#39;m happy that Kerry heard your words as you assured her that people were looking at her beause of her beautiful blue eyes.Do you know what that did for her, Eileen? As a little child, to be comforted by an adult that she loves and trusts....that comforted her so much. What child doesn&#39;t need, want, and love comfort. You said and did the perfect things. <br />Who put the angel in whose life, Eileen. God put Kerry in yours and He put you in Kerry&#39;s. It&#39;s been ten years now and I long ago stopped asking &#39;Why?&#39;, I just feel thankful that sweet little soul was in my life. The only &#39;why&#39; I have now is, why was I so Blessed?<br /><br />I remember when Debbie and I found out Kerry would be in our class and Debbie saying to me with tears in her eyes, &quot;How are we going to do this, Eileen?&quot; I had no idea how we were going to cope, never mind a class full of four and five year olds! How would we ever make them understand this? I&#39;m not sure what I would do as a parent in a case like this. On one hand I see the value of giving her a normal child&#39;s experience, but by October, when it was obvious she had little time and sleeping in the back of the classroom...my need would be for her to be home.
